Energy Consulting Overview

At LGP we offer an energy consulting service to help organisations manage their energy consumption and reduce running costs.

The following areas of service are available for businesses consuming in excess of 50,000kWh per year.

Electricity Data Analysis

As a leader in electricity retail services in Western Australia, LGP can analyse your billing information to determine if you are being billed by the cheapest option according to your needs. We also offer practical assistance and may be able identify additional ways to save you money by modifying your operating practices. The charge for the service is a percentage of the savings to be acquired over a two year period or in the event that no substantial savings can be identified, the only cost will be a small fixed charge of $200.

Energy Audit

Alternatively, your business may benefit from implementing an energy management strategy. LGP can make this easy for you by conducting an audit of all energy (electricity and gas), water and vehicle fuel use, as well as waste production and greenhouse gas emissions.

The result of the audit will provide you with detailed information of where your energy use and waste production is occurring onsite; identify areas for improvement and where savings can be made. The report will also provide you with a benchmark against which you can compare any changes you make, to assess their impact and whether or not they’ve achieved the desired result.

Energy assessment reports may be customised according to your needs to include:

• A set of prioritised steps to reduce energy and resource use and improve operating efficiency;
• Implementation plan;
• An outline of cost vs. financial and environmental benefit including payback analysis;
• Sustainable management practice survey;
• Any other requirements specified by the client.

LGP will consult with management staff during the process and present an overview of the assessment in person, to ensure the client gains a good understanding of the results and is able to ask any questions.

Presentations can also evoke discussion amongst staff and encourage enthusiasm and staff participation.
